A luncheon and fashion show held at the Oak Terrace and sponsored by Loveman's department store. The theme was "Leisure Trip to Hawaii" and leis were worn with the hats and white gloves

"The Ladies were so glad to get out of their muddy boots; they really dressed up for their luncheons. They always dressed up in their hats and white gloves."

ORWC 40th Anniversary, 1984

A dance was held in April 1984 to honor past presidents of the ORWC. Each was escorted to the front of the ballroom and presented with an orchid from the president, Mrs. Kermit Reed, and event chairman Mrs. Ewin Kiser. There were 29 living presidents of the ORWC and 22 still living in Oak Ridge. Mrs. A.H. Gossard, who was president in 1948-49, was the oldest to attend.

ORWC 70th Anniversary, 2014

The Oak Ridge Woman's Club celebrated a milestone of 70 years. The ORWC is longest standing club in the history of Oak Ridge. The date of April 16, 2014 was declared as Oak Ridge Woman's Club Day.
